What should I know about Plumbing in my unit?
Also refer to Plumbing in the Homeowner Manual

  • Our building is equipped with a Water Softener System, therefore you will need less soap in the Dishwasher & Clothes washer. Consult manufacturer's manuals.
  • Keep handy & use a toilet plunger in each bathroom as needed.
  • Keep handy some old rags in each bathroom to soak up any overflows or water leaks that they may occur.
  • Consider replacing washing machine rubber hoses with wire mesh reinforced type.
  • Avoid dumping anything into your drains that might cause them to clog up.
  • There have been reports that kitchen sink faucets in some units lose water pressure over time due to granules collecting inside the neck of the faucet.  Periodically remove the faucet extension (taking care NOT to let the hose slip back into the base of the faucet), remove the trap and wash it. Then reconnect faucet extension to hose.
