Board Meeting - February 16.  Executive Session @ 4:30pm followed by Regular Session @ 6:00pm.  Tentatively set to be held in the Amenity Suite on the second floor.  Homeowners are invited and welcome to attend the regular session of the meeting @ 6:00pm.

From our Facility Director

  • Final construction clean and service on all 4 elevator cars is underway starting with car 2 as of  February 4th.

  • Residents are beginning to inquire a lot about window treatments (shades, drapes, etc).  Please refer to your CC&R’s before beginning any work on your window coverings. (strict guidelines)

  • All but the top floors are carpeted. Door protection material can be removed by owners.  You may either take the door protection material to the trash room on the ground floor or leave it outside your door for pick up.  Call the lobby desk and someone from housekeeping will be sent to your floor to remove the debris and take it to the trash room on the ground floor.  (Do not attempt to place this material into the trash chute - it WILL clog it up)

Sad News to Report - On February 8th Richard Walker, Suite 2008, lost a 4-legged member of his family.  Truffle, who was loved by everyone who had the opportunity to get to know him, was tragically killed by a truck on the premises.   Richard would urge all of you to please please keep your pet on a leash so this will not happen to you.  It takes but a moment of distraction for such an accident to occur.

Avoid a Burglary - Keep your doors locked at all times.  A building is only as secure as those who reside in it make it.  There have been incidents of burglaries in the building because doors were left unlocked to individual units.

Flight Night -  at the Napa Valley Grille was very well attended and a great time was had by all.  Many folks from the Pinnacle took advantage of the invitation and were treated to fine wines, munchies and outstanding entertainment.

Caution in the garage - Exercise care when driving in the garage.  Efforts are underway to have mirrors installed at critical points on the ramps from floor to floor.  There have already been several near misses - so please drive carefully.

Friendly Reminder -  Be aware that when you decide to make changes within your unit, such as putting up or removing walls, changes in electrical or plumbing in your unit you are obligated to submit your plans to the Architectural Committee for oversight and approval.  The one most important reason for this is the impact your changes may have on the building itself and on obtaining insurance on the building at reasonable costs to you the homeowner.  Forms are available from the Concierge, the Facilities Director and our website & go to Architectural Guidelines

That's it for now.  Keep in touch with one another.
