News from the Pinnacle

San Diego  California

June 3, 2004

Hi everyone,

Well,  here we go again.  Seems the crane has broken down AGAIN.  This time it is not the motor but apparently a wheel (trolley).   No word yet on when it will be back in service .  Meanwhile they have brought in a temporary mobile crane unit which was put into service today.

One of the Pinnacle home buyers called me tonight to alert me to the fact that the protective film was being removed from the windows installed on the 3rd floor.  Obviously the removal of that film is premature and could lead to window replacement requirements later on at the expense of the builder.  Hopefully someone in charge will take notice and make sure that does not continue to happen.

For those of you not keeping tabs on the construction progress or who may be out of town - let me bring you up to date.  The Pinnacle has reached the ninth floor construction phase.  And as already noted - windows have been installed on the 3rd floor.

Interior walls are also being constructed and plumbing is going in.  The crane has been raised a few floors and a pumper is being used to poor the concrete on each floor.

The webcam has been adjusted upwards to take in the new height of the building.  The lens needs cleaning though.

If you were not present at the most recent downtown neighborhood party hosted by San Diego National Bank on Wednesday, June 2 you really missed a great time.  The event was catered and the free food was outstanding as was the open bar.  There were door prizes a plenty including substantial monetary prizes from the bank.  A good time was had by all.  Don't miss the next party.

That's it for this report.  Stay tuned and stay in touch.  Our list of homeowner contacts for the Pinnacle Tower continues to grow.  Spread the word.

Sincerely,
Pat McArron
