As is the case in many new high rise buildings the Pinnacle has had its share of floods during the first couple of years of occupancy due to plumbing construction defects. In each such case the builder made the corrections and paid for the damages.
In August of 2009 by consensus of the homeowners, the Pinnacle Museum Tower becomes the Pinnacle Marina Tower.
The Pinnacle continues to be one of the most sought after Luxury High-rise buildings in San Diego.
Units have sold for more than $1000.00 per sq ft.
Some homeowners have combined units increasing their square footage dramatically with spectacular results.
The largest such undertaking has been the penthouse floors (35 & 36)where two 5000 sq ft 2 story units have been combined to create 10,000 sq ft of living space including a private rooftop swimming pool.
